Sports Medicine by Dr. Roberts

Sports medicine is a combination of knowledge and skills about the injuries and performances of athletes.  Clinical knowledge is needed to address the immediate needs of an injured athlete on the field of play and how to get the player back into action.  Proper treatment of an athlete may allow immediate return to play. Dr. Roberts is trained to assist the athlete in repairing and regaining the performance level they were accustomed to prior to their injury.

Dr. Roberts provides team coverage for football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, soccer and other sports. He is the head team physician and orthopedic consultant for Irving High School, the University of Dallas and has been a team physician for other high school, collegiate, and professional teams in California and Texas.
